Renata Álvares

I am a Brazilian graphic designer living in Holland for more than 20 years and specialised in graphic design and typography for a wide range of medias.

 

I love to work from concept to production, independently or in collaboration with other professionals to develop work that is innovative, effective and beautiful.

 

Deeply rooted in the content and briefing, my approach is a combination of research, intuition and creativity. My aim is to work together with clients to reach their goals with the most appropriate, accessible, strong and original design.

 

With a background in communication, advertising and architecture, I started my career in 1994 as a graphic designer and art director for advertising agencies in Brazil. Working for medium and large clients, my work included packaging design, fashion catalogues, logos, brochures, posters and a lot more.

 

In Europe since 1998, I continued studying and working with graphic, multimedia and environmental design in different schools and design studios. Throughout the years I keep myself updated, passionated and enthusiast about design in all its aspects; as well as open to learn more and share my knowledge with others.
